APRR Cross Country
Cross-country running is a fun sport where kids and teams race outside on natural courses consisting of dirt paths, grassy fields, and forest trails. It is an endurance sport with races between 2 and 4 kilometers (1.24 - 2.5 miles), with race length determined by age. Runners build mental and physical endurance, learn goal-setting skills and how to push through challenges.
APRR Cross Country Season runs from September through early November, with opportunities to advance to Junior Olympics Regions and Nationals in late November and December.
